Dermal anchor piercings are placed right under the surface of skin and are “single pointed” and can be placed on ALMOST any surface. The tool used for this type of piercing is not a needle but something called “dermal punch” which makes the procedure fairly painless. Sadly, however pretty it may be, this piercing is most likely of being rejected or to migrate. This is due to the fact that the body’s defence mechanism will kick in faster than new tissue can grow around the jewelry. If this happens to you, in best case scenario it’ll fall out on its own and worst case scenario being that you will have to come back and have us remove it for you.
We will use a 2mm or 2.5mm dermal punch depending on location and titanium jewelry.
